Hmm I haven't been posting for quite long, since I'm kinda free now, I shall update my blog slightly.
Well, today's assembly was really funny. Here's the discussion between one spastic boy and Dr Hon:
Topic: Teachers' prejudice towards students
SB=spastic boy, Hon=Dr Hon
(after few minutes of debate)
SB: "All the teachers are prejudiced towards me!"
Hon: "Then the problem lies with you!"
SB: "No! No! They all have misconceptions of me and they are prejudiced towards me!"
Hon(amused): "In this case, it is clear that the problem is with you and not your teachers, have you tried to change your..."
SB: "No, Dr Hon I really need to enlighten you on this!"
(whole audi burst into laughter)
Hon: "I see why the teachers are prejudiced towards you now..."
Lol, the guy went up to the mic and owned himself for the second time already.
Anyway, back to what I was saying(was I even saying anything?), today's math test wasn't really well done... Left two questions blank cos my brain was hanging, one of the questions is really ultra scam... Haiz~ Anyway, after calculating, I already lost 6 marks and I suppose there will be more mistakes... So may be a bit hard to get A1. But it seems to become a trend that I always screw up the first term test and do well for the second. So I'm not really worried...
Chinese test tmr, I'm not really worried but I felt slightly pressurised by SR. He's gotten 3 A1s for chinese assignments consecatively, dunno where he got his luck/tyconess/*ahem*'zhai standard' from. There was once I even lost to him by one mark in one of the assignments. WTH?

I'm so dead today...
Why? English Oral!!!
We're supposed to present a script on food hygiene individually, but it became a interview in the end.
This was what happened:

Screw up 1:
B: Who are you representing?
me: I'm representing my project group(totally screwed answer!!!)
Screw up 2:
B: If you go to a hawker centre and speak to the hawkers, are they going to listen?
me: no.
B: So how are you going to make them listen to you?
me: We can gather them and give a talk on food hygiene.(I can also say I can hang the poster done by my group in the hawker centres to raise awareness, but I somehow forgot...)
B: Have you heard of unlawful assembly? Do you know what permit you need to hold a talk?
me: $@%$%@$%@#$@#$
Screw up 3:
B: So how does your group do the research on food hygiene?
me: um... we were assigned different tasks. I am in charge of doing the ppt and I have to refer to the summary sheet and do my own research blah blah blah...
B: Didn't I just tell the class I don't want to see patchwork? You're telling me what exactly I told you not to do!!! You may call the next person to come.
me: (oh sh!t. I'm dead meat!)
Well, my mind was in a mess cos I was starving and I might faint if I stand up too fast or run a short distance... Maybe that's why I wasn't able to answer the questions. Anyway, it's over now, so I'm not going to care either...

I went swimming today.
Woke up at about 9.10, left my house at about 9.50. The swimming complex is really near my house(less than 200m from my house), came back at about 11.
Well, it's not really I suddenly become very sporty and I am so enthu that I want to swim on a sunday morning. But last wed we had swimming lesson in our shcool and I choked half way after swimming for 25m cos I was too tired. I can only swim freestyle, yes, freestyle is faster(I think that's why the person in front almost kicked my head), but it's also more tiring. In order to pass the test, I'm supposed to swim 50m without stopping/drowning/dying.
That's why I made up my mind to learn breast stroke today. The funny thing is, I swam 50m using freestyle as WARM UP and it wasn't too tired@@ Maybe the reason why I choked half way was because some warm ups were required after not swimming for 3 years. Nevertheless, I still spent 1 hour in the pool figuring out how to breast stroke(eg. looking at pretty girls fast swimmers underwater) By the end of the session, I can swim 50m quite easily, but I'm still quite slow...
Anyway, just like 2.4, I am only aiming for a pass~

I went to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince today...
Well, kinda disappointing. Many scenes I'm expecting didn't appear. The movie ended abruptly and many scenes you can't find in the book somehow appeared in the movie and many scenes in the book didn't appear in the movie.
Overall rating: 2.5/5(You just passed!)
Had I not been a Harry Potter fan, I wouldn't go and watch the movie...
I think the book is really nicer...

lol pd is so slack...
I think my project went well, but it still depends on the judges whether I can go to the finals...
Busy night it's going to be tonight, but so sad I can't do anything right now. I have jap lesson from 3.30 to 6.45(meaning: whole afternoon gone), math worksheet(I brought it with me, but it's impossible to do trigonometry without calculator. Agree?) and history worksheet(which is at home)
Nevertheless, I have my CD player+speakers to accompany me~(lol, last time it was: I have my GwH to accompany me, but it's not that motivating now...)

YES~ Band prac is finally resumed. Well, feeling delighted and sad at the same time cos I really miss band prac but then if band pract starts I can't have the afternoon to do my work and listening to music anymore...
Anyway, no feeling of typing anything lengthy today, shall post some photos of my bday present and random stuff...

Well, after listening to the Hi-Fi speakers, I can only say I will never buy any mp3 player in my life again. CD player+ Hi-Fi speakers is WAYYYYYYY better in sound quality than MP3 player...(CD vs MP3, Earphone vs Hi-Fi speakers.)
Moreover, some Hi-Fi speakers are actually cheaper than MP3s...(but of course if you buy those hi-end speakers it can still cost you a few thousand dollars)
p.s I just realise this player can play mp3 too, just have to put the mp3 in a thumb drive and plug it in as the picture shows. LOLx

Yes it's been almost two weeks before I last posted. Well, you can't blame me cos i was really busy:
Right after band chalet(25/6, thu), my dad came to Singapore to renew our PR.
Right after we renewed our PR, I was down with flu!!!(Highest fever: 39.6, my record ever...)
Right after I recovered from flu, E-learning started. Well, you can't expect someone who's been sitting in front of the computer from 8am all the way to afternoon to continue blogging at night.
Yes! Now that my dad has gone back to taiwan, I have recovered from flu and e-learning has ended, I can finally start blogging again!!!
Today, went to Jurong Point with my mum to shop for my birthday present. Many people think it is weird to choose your own present and ask others to pay for it, but my family members (including me) really don't know what get for one another...
But, big trouble today, EVEN I DUNNO WHAT PRESENT TO CHOOSE! I realised birthday present becomes meaningless when you can have everything you want easily. I start from my head to my feet: branded shirt, branded watch, branded jeans, branded bag, branded shoes. I have everything and i really dunno what i want for my birthday...
Haiz, i wish i were born in the generation and in the family when you only get to buy new clothes during new year and on your birthday and you are the happiest person in the world if your dad gives you one second-hand watch that is still functionable... Suddenly felt quite emo when i think about it.
After a while, we went to a CD shop and I bought two chinese albums(五月天+梁文音）. Then I finally decided to go to sim lim square to buy a CD player+speakers to put in my room for my bday present and at the same time buy a laptop bag for my sister's bday present.
When I was in Jurong Point I saw a remote control toy car that can climb on walls. Quite special, I think i am getting it for my cousin when i go back to taiwan at the end of the year. but I am afraid it will spoil very fast, how if it runs out of battery when it is climbing high on the wall and just drop onto the floor... must think about it before i buy...(costs $39.95 leh)
